In questa foto ho colto una grande passione, e la tua auto-consapevolezza di aver raggiunto, finalmente dopo molti tentativi e insoddisfazioni, il "giusto" centro del lavoro ...la "perfezione" ... il "compimento"!
Ed è entusiasmante ascoltare il tuo "grido" di gioia: si sente tutta la sua potenza!
"Intuisco" quello che dici perché l'ho provato, più volte, durante la realizzazione dei miei disegni:
veri e propri viaggi nella mia immaginazione che, tramite essi, ha preso forma e raccontato storie fantastiche:
Come te ho sentito l'estasi nel raggiungimento del..."compimento" ...! Non un attimo prima ... (quando sembra che non ci manchi ancora qualcosa) ...né un attimo dopo ...
"ECCO!", quando ti senti alla fine... riguardi e riguardi...1000 volte tutte le "figure" nella composizione e le vedi librarsi autonome nel foglio, perfette, nella giusta relazione una con l'altra ... dialogando tra loro anche nel contrasto tutte allegorie di te stesso ...che, miracolosamente, danno pace alla tua turbolenza interiore giustificando la tua oscurità angosciante, piena di misteri e paure!
anzi! Talvolta toccando, come in un transfert soprannaturale, la dimensione impercepibile dai sensi ...che ... qualcuno chiama "divina" e qualcun' altro "cosmica"!
Tornando alla foto "quale appare" ... ci leggo "citazioni" della leggerezza del surrealismo onirico di Magritte e il tocco "gothic-fantasy" di Tim Burton ... molto ben reinterpretate e realizzate! un gran bel lavoro! Complimenti!
Eppure non riesco a trattenermi dal decifrare la serie di cappelli: il vero fil-rouge dell'intera foto!
A volte eterei come il volo degli uccelli, a volte "statici" posati in cima alle scale, a volte ... su...in testa!
E me li immagino come simbolo di pensieri ... pensieri, "generati" dal protagonista "pensante" (l'alter ego dell'autore...il creatore ) ...
... Alcuni di loro, gravi, indecollabili, bloccati in cima a quei percorsi della ragione (le scale), sviluppi meccanicisti di "causa-effetto" che, giunti all'ultimo gradino, arrestano il loro cammino!
Altri, invece, prendono il volo, come ballerini leggeri trasportati senza mèta e fine dalla "propria" tempesta interiore!
E poi...quella lanterna in fondo: l'uomo (questa volta l'autore stesso) che cerca se stesso...nella tormenta! (la lanterna) e il fascino abbagliante dell'ignoto (Il cosmo o il dio di cui sopra).

Mi correggo: il "pensatore" è in realtà un osservatore "attento" ... non ha niente a che vedere con il rimuginante e "chiuso in se stesso" "pensatore" scolpito da Rodin!
Una cosa non mi torna: l'aridità del suo corpo (come un terreno riarso) ... che contrasta con il campo di papaveri su cui si ergono le "scale" ......forse, nonostante gli sforzi, sono io il "vano pensatore"...quello che non riesce a trovare il..."centro"!

In the picture i see a strong passion, and a self-consciousness of having finally reached, after many attempts and unsatisfactory results, the “true” center of your work... a sort of “perfection”... the “achievement” of something!
And listening to you “shouting your joy out loud” is truly exciting: anyone can feel its power! I can “guess” what you mean because I have already felt it several times while executing my drawings: they are journeys through my imagination, and in fact what I imagined finally became real thanks to them, telling wonderful stories. Just like you, I experienced an overwhelming joy when I finally “achieved” what I was looking for! In that very moment... neither few moments before (when something is still missing), nor right after...
“Here we are!”, when you feel you are done... you look at it over and over again... one thousand times if necessary, you check the “elements” in the composition until you see them getting free and kind of setting alive, as perfect as you imagined them, in the right relationship with each other... almost getting connected and communicating with each other, all sort of allegories of yourself.. that, like a miracle, they bring rest to your inner demons, and you finally understand the darkness of your fears and anxieties! Even better, sometimes you touch your artwork and, as if something magical occurred, something you cannot describe, you feel a connection that someone calls “divine”, someone else would call it “cosmic”!
Getting back to the photo “as it is” ...I see “references” to the dreamful surrealistic scenes of Magritte, with a little bit of a Tim Burton's “gothic-fantasy” touch ...very well reinterpreted and realized! definitely a good job! Congratulations! Also, I cannot help but trying to understand the series of hats: the actual fil rouge of the picture! Some of them are as heavenly as birds flying, some are “static” and sit on top of the stairs, and some... well, some are just on heads! I figure them as symbols of thoughts ...thoughts that “come from” the main character of the picture (the alter ego of the author... the creator).
Some of them are heavy, full of grief, they cannot float as they are stuck at the end of those logical paths (the stairs), a consequence of a simple “cause-effect” mechanism that stops them at the very last step of the stairs! Others, however, fly away like floating dancers, carried away without a real destination by the “storm” within! And then there's that lantern on the background: the man (the author) is seeking himself... in the middle of the storm! (the lantern) and the charming light coming from the unknown (the cosmos, or God, as previously mentioned).
Let me tell it more precisely: the “thinker” is in fact an “observer” who pays attention to details... there is nothing about overthinking or getting “folded within oneself”, as it would be the case of the “thinker” sculpted by Rodin. Something puzzles me: the aridity of his body (cracked as a dried soil) ...in contrast with the filed of poppies where the “stairs” stand... maybe, in spite of the efforts, I am the “pointless thinker” ...the one who cannot find the ...”core meaning”!
